Michelle Cheatham is a Pittsburgh, PA native that enjoys
the art of painting to express her thoughts and ideas, as well as, the vision of others.  Michelle's body of work reflects her varied interests.  She has painted commissioned portraits, unique personal requests, family, abstracts and various other pieces.

She studied at the Carnegie Mellon Museum in Pittsburgh, the New York Institute of Technology on Long Island, NY and with local artist, Mary McQuary, that developed her skill as an oil painter.  Michelle has also been heavily influenced by her artist aunt, Joyce Murray of Atlanta, GA.

Michelle has enjoyed the pleasure and challenge of painting for over 25 years, including portraits for Richmond's Dementi Studio.  Her passion and commitment has satisfied many families in the Richmond community.
